(Providence, RI)--The Rhode Island Senate is passing legislation to give the state control of land formerly occupied by Interstate 195.The bill, introduced by Senate President Dominick Ruggerio, now moves to the House for consideration.Ruggerio says "delays and impediments" have slowed down the proposed Hope Point Tower on former I-195 land in Providence.
