(Coventry, RI)--Residents in Coventry are reversing course on a new town budget.The spending plan passed at an all-day referendum on Thursday.After the initial budget was turned down last month, the Coventry school district sent layoff notices to hundreds of teachers and said drastic cuts were being considered.That led to a call for a new public vote.
