(Providence, RI)--The state budget to be debated in the House later this week includes several non-budget items that have already been discussed this legislative session.Senate President Dominick Ruggerio's proposal to allow the state to take over former Route 195 land was factored in.The budget also includes the establishment of a new board of trustees to oversee the University of Rhode Island.Another bill that's received approval this year, to phase out the current license plates, will get consideration.
