(Providence, RI)--Rhode Island State Police are arresting seven people in connection to a pair of shootings at nightclubs in Providence.The first shooting happened on May 20th at Club Seven on Spruce Street, resulting in two people receiving non-life-threatening injuries.The second happened on Sunday in the area of El Patio Night Club on Public Street.Jean Garrido of Providence was reportedly shot and is one of the people who has been arrested.State police say both shootings stemmed from conflicts among street gangs.More arrests are expected.
