You never knew that your sweet tooth could make the world better, but Nestle is making it happen. The candy company has announced plans for a one-of-a-kind recyclable candy bar wrapper. So when you finish a treat, you’ll be able to recycle the paper packaging with your other recyclable items.
The eco-friendly wrappers will first be used on Nestle’sYes! Snack barsand their goal is to move to all recyclable or reusable packaging by 2025. For now, the sweets with greener wrappers are only available in some European countries, but Nestle promises, “More countries in Europe and beyond will follow soon.”
