(Providence, RI)--The man arrested for a cold case killing in Pawtucket is strongly denying the charges.The state agreed to allow bail for Joao [[ jow ]] Monteiro of Central Falls on Friday based on a continuing review of the case, according to prosecutors in court on Monday.Monteiro was released from custody on Friday night after he was arrested earlier last week for the death of Christine Cole, a young girl who disappeared in 1988.Police said the arrest was the result of DNA testing.
