PawSox Apologize After Some Take Issue With Sean Spicer Appearance

(Pawtucket, RI)--The Pawtucket Red Sox are apologizing after former White House press secretary for President Trump, Sean Spicer, threw out the first pitch at a game when the team was celebrating its annual Pride Night.The appearance was considered by some insulting to LGBTQ fans because of the Trump administration's policy on LGBTQ issues.The PawSox explained that on the same night as Pride Night, it also welcomed a non-profit that helps severely-wounded veterans, which chose the Rhode Island native Spicer, who served as a board member, to represent them.
