(New Shoreham, RI)--Monday evening, the Coast Guard said it was suspending an active search near Block Island.Earlier in the day, crews were searching for a possible missing person after locating an unmanned paddle board and life jacket.The search was suspended because of new information, according to the Coast Guard.
