(Providence, RI)--A Providence City Council member is speaking out after several recent violent nightclub incidents.David Salvatore [[ SAHL-vuh-TORE ]] says he is calling on the rest of the council to revisit a 2012 report that examined the city's board of licenses, and he's calling for the license board to work with club owners and the council to work on violence prevention.Open-or-close decisions are pending from the board for the G Rooftop and Noah Lounge, where stabbing incidents were reported this past weekend, and Flow, where a shooting happened last week.
