(Providence, RI)--The Providence Journal reports City Council passed a resolution on Thursday for a review of the city's Board of Licenses.The authorization to pay a consultant to conduct the review comes after a rash of nightclub violence incidents this year.Councilors who voted against the review noted that a similar one was conducted five years ago, which led to reforms and an audit of the board.
