Conservative justices like Samuel Alito appeared skeptical about arguments that claimed civil rights law banning discrimination based on sex, also covers sexual orientation.
However, conservative justice Neil Gorsuch asked questions that signaled he was open to claims the law protected LGBTQ workers. The court's liberal wing seemed to side with Bostock.
