The transcript of the phone call from Donald Trump to the Ukraine president was missing key words and phrases.
That was the testimony of the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council to Congress yesterday. Alexander Vindman says he tried to edit the White House transcript of President Trump's July phone call with Ukraine's president. The Army Lieutenant Colonel tried to add details to the document that were left out but thought he failed to do so.
Those include Trump bringing up potential recordings of Joe Biden talking about corruption in Ukraine, as well as Ukraine's leader mentioning an energy company that hired Biden's son Hunter. Vindman testified for several hours yesterday as part of the House impeachment inquiry against Trump.
