(Providence, RI)--The Community College of Rhode Island is making a large bond request to renovate its campuses.The general revenue bond request is for 63-million dollars, the biggest in recent history, according to a Providence Journal report.A spokesperson says CCRI campuses have hundreds of millions of dollars of deferred maintenance.The proposal, along with the bond requests from the other two public colleges in the state, will require several rounds of approval before heading to voters.
