(Warwick, RI)--New charges are being filed against Michele Rothgeb, the Warwick woman already charged with manslaughter for the death of one of her adopted children. Nine-year-old Zha-Nae Rothgeb's death was reported at their home in January.The new charges allege Michele Rothgeb improperly cared for seven other special-needs children in her home, and she also now faces an animal neglect charge.A state report that followed the death of Zah-Nae indicated Rothgeb had fostered or adopted 13 disabled children over an eight-year period.
