(Newport, RI)--A U.S. Navy officer who was killed in a shooting last week at a base in Florida is being remembered in Newport.A Saudi aviation student killed three sailors and wounded eight others at the Pensacola Naval Air Station on Friday.A remembrance ceremony was held at the Naval Academy Prep School in Newport on Tuesday for Joshua Kaleb Watson, a native of Alabama.His brother said in a Facebook post that Watson died a hero; after being shot multiple times, he said he made it outside and told a first response team where the shooter was.
