(Warwick, RI)--Warwick school superintendent Phil Thornton says he is conducting an investigation of allegations of fans using racist language at a high school basketball game.He tells the website GoLocalProv that a complaint has not been specifically brought to him, but that reports on social media prompted him to look into the matter.This is from a game on Tuesday between the girls' teams of Pilgrim High School and Mount Pleasant.The Rhode Island Department of Education tweeted that it has contacted both school superintendents regarding the allegations.
