(Middletown, RI)--A woman was killed in a collision with a motor vehicle in Middletown on Saturday.Police say the motorist backed out of a driveway and across Ward Avenue and hit two people in a yard, killing Gertrude Mackin of Middletown.The second person who was hit was reportedly listed in serious condition at Rhode Island Hospital.The incident is being investigated.
