(New Shoreham, RI)--Work is being announced to re-bury the transmission line of the Block Island Wind Farm.Orsted says one of the two cables will be re-buried starting in the fall and finish by Memorial Day.In the meantime, the company says the offshore wind farm, the first in the nation, will have to go offline.Orsted says ratepayers will not be responsible for any cost of this endeavor, which is being undertaken because the cable was not buried deep enough and has occasionally been exposed
