(Providence, RI)--There are new guidelines for large retailers in Rhode Island in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency.Retailers and grocers are being ordered to allow no more than 20 percent of stated fire capacity in stores at a time.Staff will be required to count the number of people coming and out and enforce the limits.The stores are also being asked to designate employees to monitor social distancing.This goes into effect at 5 p.m. today.
