(Providence, RI)--The death toll from COVID-19 is now at eight in Rhode Island with four more deaths since yesterday.There are also 86 new cases bringing the state's known total to 488.Fifty-nine people are now hospitalized which Governor Gina Raimondo calls a significant and serious jump.She says the virus is now in a rapid spread phase.
