(Providence, RI)--The state of Rhode Island has partnered with global software company SalesForce for a contact-tracing initiative during the coronavirus crisis.The state says SalesForce is creating a secure database to allow the Rhode Island Department of Health and the National Guard to contact-trace more efficiently and effectively.Governor Gina Raimondo has emphasized contact-tracing to Rhode Islanders during the crisis and said yesterday this is essential to get people back to work.She said the new initiative represents a more pinpointed approach.
