(Bristol, RI)--The Bristol Fourth of July celebration is being downsized this year.The committee in charge of the event made that announcement after it said it met on Wednesday.It also voted to move other events to other dates this summer.The parade itself is still scheduled for July 4th.The Bristol Fourth of July celebration is considered the longest-continuous celebration in the U.S. with a 235-year history.
