(East Providence, RI)--The East Providence Police Department is warning about several apparent cases of mail-fishing.The East Prov PD is asking people to make a call if they observe suspicious behavior around mailboxes in the city.If you are sending a check or money in the mail, the police department asks you to consider going directly to the post office, or if you are using a mailbox, deposit the mail as close to the scheduled pickup time as possible.
