(Providence, RI)--Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo said yesterday that large events including festivals and concerts won't be allowed in the state this summer because of the coronavirus pandemic.Following up that news right away: cancellations from the Newport Folk and Jazz festivals.Governor Raimondo also said weddings with more than fifty guests will be unlikely this summer.Raimondo is still targeting May 9th to lift Rhode Island's stay-at-home order.
