(Kingston, RI)--A new undergraduate program in cannabis studies is being proposed at the University of Rhode Island.The seven-week certification program, the first of its kind in the state, would begin in the fall semester.It was proposed due to an increasing demand for trained professionals in the quickly-growing marijuana industry.The proposal has been sent to URI President David Dooley.
