Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders says he's going to try and get American's two-thousand-dollar direct payments "no matter how long it takes." On Monday, Sanders said he plans to filibuster an override of President Donald Trump's defense bill veto unless the Senate votes on increased stimulus payments. Sanders said it would be "unconscionable" if the Senate left Washington D.C. before voting on the measure.
