(Providence, RI) -- The Providence Journal reports Governor Raimondo plans to remain in office as governor during the Senate confirmation process for her nomination to become the commerce secretary. President-elect Joe Biden announced her as his choice yesterday. Lieutenant Governor Dan McKee says he and Raimondo have discussed the importance of a smooth transition.
