(Washington, DC) -- Governor Raimondo is getting closer to confirmation as U.S. Secretary of Commerce. The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Technology approved her nomination this morning on a vote of 21-to-3. The final step is a vote by the full Senate. The three committee members voting against Raimondo today are all Republicans.
