(Providence, RI)--The COVID-19 treatment field hospital in Providence is closed.The Lifespan operated site at the Rhode Island Convention Center has treated more than five-hundred-patients since it opened on December 1st last year.Cathy Duquette with Lifespan's Alternative Hospital says the closure is circumstantial since all COVID-19 patients there have now been released.She say the doors can open again at a moment's notice whenever health officials say there's a need.
