(Providence, RI) -- Former Providence City Council President Sabina Matos is now Rhode Island's lieutenant governor. She was sworn-in during a brief State House ceremony this morning following her Senate confirmation last night. Matos is Governor McKee's successor from about 60 applicants for the job.
