(Providence, RI) -- A man was arrested for carrying an unlicensed gun during a rally at the Rhode Island Island State House Wednesday, which was held in connection to the shooting of a black man by a police officer in Minnesota this week. Dennis Torres of Riverside was carrying a loaded handgun, according to the Providence Police Department. No other issues were reported at the rally at the Capitol, which was organized by the Black Lives Matter Rhode Island Political Action Committee.
