(Providence, RI) -- The Rhode Island Secretary of State's Office is letting people know that Friday is the last day to declare candidacy for two available seats on the Providence City Council and West Warwick Town Council. A special primary will be held on June 8th and the final election will be on July 6th. The Providence City Council seat available is Ward 15, previously held by Sabina Matos, who is now the lieutenant governor.
