Providence, RI) -- The Rhode Island Black and Latino Caucus has rolled-out 13 priorities for the current General Assembly session. They include health care, increasing parental leave, minimum wage and criminal justice. The Boston Globe reports the chair of the Caucus, Pawtucket Representative Karen Alzate, says Black and Latino communities are tired of being treated as second class.
