(Providence, RI) -- There's a confirmed case of the Indian variant of the coronavirus in Rhode Island. It's believed to be the primary cause of the ongoing catastrophic rise in cases and deaths in India. The website GoLocalProv.com reports health officials say it's possible there are other cases of the variant in Rhode Island that have not been identified.
