(Providence, RI) -- The Rhode Island Black Lives Matter organization calls for defunding of Providence Police. Members of the group staged a protest rally yesteray afternon at the Providence Public Safety Complex. BLM RI Political Action Committee's Harrison Tuttle says the idea is to invest the money normally used for the police budget and use the money to make needed improvements in deprived areas.
