(Providence, RI) -- Providence City Council President John Igliozzi is calling for a special meeting next week to address a crime wave in the capital. The latest incident was a mother reportedly being ripped from her car and attacked by a group of ATV and dirt bike riders while her young child was with her. Igliozzi says Providence is experiencing a public safety emergency.
