Thursday marks the 30th anniversary of Hurricane Bob making landfall in Rhode Island. A hurricane has not had a direct hit on New England since then. Bob's impact was felt across the region, but the worst action was in the Cape Cod area. The hurricane cost New England about $1.5 billion, and thirteen people died.
