(Cranston, RI) -- A bankruptcy auction of the assets of Rhode Island jewelry retailer Alex and Ani was canceled after failing to gain any bidders. That's according to a report from the Providence Business News. Bankruptcy was filed in June. Carolyn Rafaelian, who founded Alex and Ani in 2004, stepped down as its chief executive officer two years ago and is no-longer with the company.
