(Providence, RI) -- The state of Rhode Island reported four new coronavirus deaths on Wednesday. The pandemic death toll for the Ocean State increased to 2,782. Rhode Island reported 405 new virus cases on Wednesday. The rate of positive test results this week is 2.5%, down from 3.5% last week. Over 692,000 Rhode Island residents are fully vaccinated, with over 759,000 at least partially vaccinated, which represents 72% of the population..
