A man who was reportedly shot while sitting in a vehicle in Providence over the weekend has died.
The victim was 21-year-old Niberto Diaz of Providence.
The shooting that happened early Sunday morning on Glasgow Street is now the capital city's 20th homicide of the year.
In a separate case, a 17-year-old from Providence has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in February.
This one also involved a victim sitting in a car, 19-year-old Johnjairo Brito at his residence on Academy Avenue.
Authorities are seeking to charge the juvenile as an adult.
