A close call for a mom and her new born baby in Providence.
Police say 14 shots were fired at the home on Herschel Street this week.
The mom was sleeping with the baby in a bassinet when she was awakened by one of the shots which hit the bed.
She was not hurt.
Neither was the baby.
Police are still investigating but have made no arrests.
