The state of Rhode Island reported two new coronavirus deaths on Tuesday.
The pandemic death toll in the Ocean State increased to two-thousand-884. The number of new virus cases reported in RI yesterday was three-hundred-16.
Meantime, Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket has placed twenty-one unvaccinated employees on administrative leave.
The Rhode Island Department of Health had warned the hospital about letting the workers continue on the job past the state's November 1st deadline for complying with the healthcare worker COVID vaccine mandate.
Landmark was facing the possibility of fines and a freeze on admitting patients.
