A deadly officer-involved shooting in Warwick is under investigation.
A man armed with a rifle was shot and killed last night after officers responded to the Lockwood Condominiums on West Shore Road.
They were able to get a woman safely out of a condo unit.
The man was shot when he pointed the rifle at police and refused to drop the weapon as he moved toward them.
As is the case in similar instances, the State Attorney General has taken over the investigation.
