Rhode Island businesses are now subject to fines of up to 500 dollars if they do not comply with the state’s mask mandate.
Most businesses now have signs up requiring you to wear a mask or to prove you have been vaccinated.
Businesses aren’t thrilled since many say they have to add a person to the staffing levels for the night to monitor vaccination status.
The new order applies to bars, restaurants, gyms and even churches and the like.
