President Biden is answering the call to help six states struggling with the COVID surge.
He's sending military medical teams to hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Rhode Island, Michigan and New Mexico.
The President is expected to make the announcement later this morning.
Rhode Island is now the most infected state, followed by New York, while California just set a daily case record.
Governor McKee has not spoken in advance of the anticipated announcement.
