A Democratic candidate is joining the race for the Rhode Island 2nd Congressional District.
The announcement came in the form of a tweet--"I'm In."
Joy Fox is a former top staffer to incumbent Jim Langevin and former governor Gina Raimondo.
Fox, a resident of Warwick, says we need a representative in Congress who knows the district and is willing to fight for every family.
She is planning a formal kickoff of her campaign in the next several days.
She is the fourth Democrat in a field that includes Rhode Island Treasurer Seth Magaziner.
