An investigation into the brutal killing of chickens that began over two-years ago is continuing.
The Rhode Island SPCA says 30-to-40 chickens have been killed in some sort of ritual manner.
The dead birds have been found in cemeteries, parks, along roadsides and in the yards of private homes in communities statewide.
Investigators believe the suspect or suspects are from Rhode Island, but they don't know where in the state.
Meantime, The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
