Former Cranston Mayor Alan Fung has announced that he will run for congressional seat being vacated by Rep. Jim Langevin, who has announced he will not run for re-election. Fung tells WJAR-TV (NBC10) that he feels the country is moving in the wrong direction and needs problem solvers in Washington. Fung served as Cranston's Mayor from 2009 to 2021 and ran for Governor of RI twice.
