A solemn anniversary in West Warwick Sunday.
It was 19 years ago that 100 people died at The Station Night Club fire.
200 people were hurt.
The tour manager for the band was sentenced to 4 years in prison after pleading guilty to 100 counts of manslaughter.
Families coming together last night at the site of night club which has now been converted to a memorial for the victims.
At The Station Memorial Park 100 white lights were hung to remember those who passed away in the tragedy.
200 more lights, multi colored were also hung to remember those who were physically and emotionally injured.
Red and Blue lights were also displayed to remember the police and fire and other public safety officials who worked the scene that night.
Some people who were hurt in the tragedy had never returned to the site until Sunday. They say reliving the nightmare was too much until now.
Meantime, officials in West Warwick and residents are united in one thought –
They will never forget.
