Today marks the two-year anniversary of the first confirmed case of coronavirus in Rhode Island. It was linked to a European field trip taken by a group of students from Saint Raphael Academy in Pawtucket. Since then, the state has confirmed over 34-hundred coronavirus-related deaths and nearly 356-thousand cases.
0fficials say the state is seeing on average about 150 new cases a day.
Statewide there are 117 people in Rhode Island hospitals being treated.
More than two point one million doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been distributed.
